Ukraine's Izmail Port Hit by Russian Drone Due to Trade Issues

Recently, Ukraine's Izmail port was hit by another drone from Russia. The attack near the River Danube took one person's life, the local leader said. This attack has made things more tense in the area, especially because the port is close to Romania, a NATO member.

Oleh Kiper, the leader of the Odesa area, said the port and farming areas were badly hurt in this night-time drone hit. Moscow hasn't said anything about this, making people more worried about what it means politically.

Earlier this week, the same port was hit by another Russian drone. Ukraine had said that these drones had gone into Romanian land in the earlier attack, but Romania said that wasn't true.

The River Danube is very important for Ukraine. Russia has been attacking Ukraine's ports along this river for a while. It looks like Russia wants to stop Ukraine from using the river to sell its grain. This is a big problem for Ukraine because they sell a lot of wheat and corn to other countries.

There's also politics involved. While Romania and Ukraine are having problems, Russian and Turkish leaders are trying to bring back an old agreement. This agreement let Ukraine safely sell grain through the Black Sea. The Turkish leader went to Sochi to talk to President Vladimir Putin about this. But Putin said the agreement won't happen unless the West stops putting limits on Russian farm products. Putin also said he'll give free grain to six countries in Africa.

On the same night, missiles were aimed at Ukraine's main city, Kyiv. But Ukraine's army stopped them, so no one was hurt.

This situation in Ukraine shows how easy it is for peace to be broken in that area. We hope for peaceful talks and an end to the fighting.
